Seiko Watch Corporation is proud to announce the opening of Seiko Dream Square, a new four-story shopping complex in the heart of her birthplace, in the Ginza district of Tokyo. Seiko Dream Square opens its doors for visitors to "see, feel and experience" the rich history and heritage of watchmaking of the brand since 1881 through its museums, exhibition halls and entertainment functions.

Welcoming the spirit of “Omotenashi”, a Japanese term that means the best possible service and hospitality, the brand new space is a destination for visitors of all ages, as well as a center to communicate the brand's history to world level, from Ginza to the world.

On the first floor is a small museum, where it is possible to appreciate an image of the interior of the symbolic clock tower of Wako. The tower is a historic symbol of the house and a Ginza landmark, in which Seiko's founder, Kintaro Hattori, placed its headquarters. At the highest levels, visitors can enjoy a shopping experience in the world of the main collections: Prospex, Presage, Lukia and Astron, and each one is displayed in a refined environment based on its unique identity.

Ginza is a district of Tokyo known for its high class and exclusive glamor, which also stands out for a high-end commercial and business center. This new space is located in the center of the district and serves as a crossing for national and international visitors.

At the opening ceremony, held on December 19, 2018, the president and CEO of Seiko Watch Corporation, Shinji Hattori, commented: “A Seiko watch is not simply an industrial product. It can be a travel companion or the story of life. Our dream is that this new space is the place where visitors from all over the world want to find this particular partner. ”

With Seiko Dream Square, there are already four establishments of the brand in the Ginza area: Wako and Seiko Premium Boutique Ginza for high-end luxury watches, and the Boutique (on the fifth floor of the GINZA SIX complex) for several world collections .
